Jeff Prondzinski
Wayzata Boys Tennis Head Coach
Jeff Prondzinski currently serves as the head coach of the Wayzata High School Varsity Boys Tennis program. With over 32 years of coaching experience, Jeff has built a legacy of excellence grounded in dedication, teamwork, and personal growth.
Before joining Wayzata, Jeff spent three years coaching at Mankato Loyola and five years at Winona Cotter. His passion for developing athletes stems from his own collegiate career at Minnesota State University, where he competed from 1992 to 1996 and earned recognition as a finalist for Male Athlete of the Year while also achieving Academic All-American honors.
Under his leadership, Wayzata Tennis has flourished, earning Jeff the title of Minnesota Coach of the Year for three consecutive years—2023, 2024, and 2025. His program philosophy centers on providing every athlete with the opportunity to reach their potential both on and off the court through hard work, team chemistry, and dedication.
Jeff continues to set the standard for excellence in Minnesota high school tennis, inspiring his players to pursue success with integrity and passion.
