Minnetonka Softball Head Coach

Mary Beth Wiig is in her 36th year of coaching the Minnetonka Varsity Skippers. Her record with the Skippers is 490-312. Mary Beth has led Minnetonka to 2 State Titles. In 2025, the Skippers won the Lake Conference and were runners up in Section 2AAAA.  

Mary Beth is a retired Minnetonka School Counselor and was awarded the MN Secondary School Counselor of the Year in 2019. She now works with Family Friends, a Minnetonka non-profit. Mary Beth and her husband enjoy spending time with their children and traveling.
