Caitlin Hawkins
Minnetonka Badminton Head Coach
Caitlin Hawkins is a dedicated badminton coach at Minnetonka High School, where she leads the girls’ team with a focus on both athletic growth and strong team culture. With two years at Minnetonka and a total of six years involved in badminton, Hawkins brings both experience and passion to the program.
She began her own competitive journey playing for Eden Prairie High School, where one of her most memorable moments was reaching varsity and competing at the state level. Facing top players from across the Twin Cities, Hawkins and her teammates pushed themselves to their limits, creating a lasting sense of pride and accomplishment.
Before her coaching career, Hawkins attended Roosevelt High School in Minneapolis from 2014 to 2017. Today, she emphasizes the importance of building a team environment rooted in trust, accountability, and mutual support. She believes in treating team members like family—encouraging athletes to look out for one another while striving to be their best both on and off the court.
Through her leadership, Hawkins continues to foster a positive and competitive badminton program that values hard work, connection, and personal growth.
