Dan Rubischko

Eden Prairie Softball Head Coach

Daniel Rubischko serves as the Head Coach of the Eden Prairie Girls Softball program, bringing an impressive 42 years of coaching experience, including 24 years with Eden Prairie. A graduate of Minneapolis Patrick Henry High School and The Blake School, Rubischko has dedicated decades to developing successful athletes and competitive teams.

In addition to his coaching career, Rubischko played men’s fastpitch softball for 20 years as a catcher—an experience that continues to influence his coaching philosophy and approach to the game. His deep understanding of player development and game strategy has contributed to numerous team successes, including a State Championship in 2002, a third-place state finish in 2007, and state tournament appearances in 2019 and 2024. He has also been recognized as a Section Coach of the Year.

Coach Rubischko is committed to developing the whole athlete—mentally, physically, and socially—by emphasizing athletic growth, technical skill development, mental toughness, and strong team commitment. His leadership continues to shape a positive and competitive culture within the Eden Prairie softball program.
