Aaron Oliver

Eden Prairie Boys Lacrosse Head Coach

Aaron Olivier is a dedicated lacrosse coach, educator, and program builder with over 25 years of experience in the sport. Currently leading the Eden Prairie Boys Varsity Lacrosse team, Olivier has built a reputation for developing athletes and fostering strong team culture from the youth level through high school.

Before joining Eden Prairie, Olivier served as the Head Boys Lacrosse Coach at Minnetonka High School from 2009 to 2019, after beginning as an assistant coach from 2007 to 2008. During his tenure, he led Minnetonka to a State Championship in 2009 and a third-place finish in 2018. His leadership and impact on the program earned him back-to-back Minnesota State Coaches Association Coach of the Year honors in 2018 and 2019.

As a player, Olivier competed at the University of Minnesota Duluth, where he helped lead the team to a national tournament appearance in 2001. His passion for the game extends beyond wins and losses—he emphasizes a player-centered approach and believes it is never too late to start playing lacrosse. Olivier has been instrumental in building programs from the ground up, focusing on long-term athlete development and community engagement.

In addition to his coaching career, Olivier spent 21 years as a high school teacher, bringing an educational mindset to his coaching philosophy and emphasizing growth, accountability, and character.

Off the field, Aaron is supported by his wife, Laura, and their three children: Edie, a student at the University of Minnesota; Berit, who attends Florida State University; and Oscar, a senior at Eden Prairie High School.
