Tyler Antony

Head Coach

Tyler Antony serves as the Varsity Head Coach for the NWC Riverhawks, entering his first season at the helm. He brings a strong background in Minnesota high school hockey, including three years as the Boys Varsity Assistant Coach at Elk River and four years prior as a Varsity Assistant at St. Michael-Albertville.

During his time at Elk River, Antony played a key role in helping lead the program to its first state tournament appearance in 19 years during the 2023–24 season. His impact on the program was further recognized when he was named the Section 8AA Assistant Coach of the Year for the 2025–26 season.

A former collegiate player at Augsburg University, Antony earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management while competing for the Auggies.

Coach Antony emphasizes a culture built on accountability and purpose, guided by three core principles: maintaining a strong attitude and consistent effort, refusing to settle for average in any aspect of life, and embracing a “OneHawk” mindset that prioritizes team and community over individual success.

Outside of hockey, Antony is a proud husband and father of three. His family is actively involved in the local community and youth sports. Professionally, he serves as a State Farm Agent, where he works alongside a dedicated team to support individuals and families.
