Sean Goldsworthy

Varsity Hockey Head Coach

Sean Goldsworthy is a dedicated and experienced coach with a strong background in Minnesota high school and collegiate hockey. Currently leading the Minnetonka Boys’ Hockey program, Goldsworthy has spent nine years building a competitive and disciplined team culture.

Before his tenure at Minnetonka, he was deeply involved in collegiate athletics at St. Olaf College, where he coached at the NCAA level from 1996 to 2016. His extensive experience at both the high school (MNSHSL) and collegiate (NCAA) levels has shaped his approach to player development, emphasizing skill, teamwork, and character.

Under his leadership, Minnetonka achieved significant success, capturing MSHSL State Championships in 2018 and 2023. Known for his commitment to excellence and his ability to develop athletes on and off the ice, Goldsworthy continues to be a respected figure in Minnesota hockey.
