Grace Ducosin
Girls Varsity Gymnastics Head Coach
Grace Ducosin is excited to return to Maple Grove Varsity and Junior Varsity Gymnastics for her third year of coaching. A former Maple Grove gymnast herself, Grace began gymnastics in elementary school with the Midwest Amateur Gymnastics Association before joining the Maple Grove Senior High Gymnastics Team in seventh grade. She stayed with the program throughout middle school and high school, graduating as a team captain in 2019. One of her biggest highlights as an athlete was competing three varsity events at the state meet during her senior year. Maple Grove Gymnastics has also recently highlighted the team’s strong academic culture, including a Section academic honor, which reflects the program’s commitment to school success as well as athletics.
Grace’s coaching philosophy focuses on striving for excellence both in and out of the gym. She aims to help athletes build strong character, learn from setbacks, and prepare for life beyond gymnastics by becoming positive, well-rounded people. Outside of coaching, Grace works as the Internship Coordinator at Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge, where she supports high school interns through hands-on conservation experiences and career-readiness training.
