Kristin Biwan

Varsity Dance Head Coach

Kristin Biwan is a dedicated and accomplished dance coach with 15 years of coaching experience at the varsity level. A proud alumna of the University of Minnesota Dance Team, Kristin competed from 2008 to 2010, helping lead her team to an impressive double national title in both Pom and Jazz in 2010.

Throughout her career, Kristin has been recognized for her excellence and leadership, earning several prestigious awards, including AAA Coach of the Year in 2015 and 2017, as well as 2AAA Kick Section Coach of the Year in 2025. She is known for fostering a culture of discipline, teamwork, and resilience through the Hard Hat Mindset, inspiring her dancers to strive for excellence both on and off the floor.

Kristin continues to make a lasting impact on the Edina Dance Team program, guiding athletes to achieve success while promoting personal growth and a strong sense of community.
