Jon Bryant

Boys Varsity Basketball Head Coach

Jon Bryant is the Head Coach of the Edina Boys Varsity Basketball team, where he has led the program with distinction since 2022. With eight years of coaching experience at the varsity level, Jon’s career reflects a deep passion for player development and team culture.

Before joining Edina, he served as Head Coach at Robbinsdale Armstrong High School from 2018 to 2021, earning Section Coach of the Year honors twice during his tenure. His coaching journey also includes positions as Varsity Assistant at Wayzata High School (2017–2018) and Park Center High School (2021–2022).

As a player, Jon competed for the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he was part of the Badgers’ memorable run to the NCAA Final Four in 2000. Following his collegiate career, he played professionally in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA).

Jon’s leadership and commitment to excellence have made him a respected figure in Minnesota high school basketball. He has earned Section Coach of the Year recognition three times—two at Armstrong and one at Edina. Married with two children, Jon continues to bring his love for the game and mentorship to the next generation of athletes.
