Boys Varsity Hockey Head Coach

Lincoln brings a wealth of experience from coaching at multiple levels of junior and collegiate hockey, including the USHL, NAHL, and Tier III junior leagues, as well as NCAA Division I and III. His coaching journey includes being head coach at Marian University (NCAA Division III), assistant coach at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks (NCAA Division I), Owatonna High School, and, most recently, as an Assistant Coach for the Minnetonka Boys Varsity team. These diverse experiences have shaped Nguyen into a well-rounded leader dedicated to advancing the game and his student athletes.

Nguyen’s coaching philosophy is rooted in development, education, and clear communication. He emphasizes teaching the “why” behind each concept to help players become reflective, critical thinkers who take ownership of their growth both on and off the ice. With strong connections throughout the hockey community, Nguyen is well-positioned to help student-athletes pursue opportunities beyond high school, especially when they are committed to doing things the right way on and off the ice.
