HANNAH HEMPE

Varsity Girls Cross Country Head Coach

Hempe has 10 years of overall coaching experience and is currently the co-head coach for Maple Grove Cross Country, working with all levels of both the girls’ and boys’ teams. In 2024, she helped lead the Girls Varsity team to the NWSC Championship. The program’s philosophy is built on the “3 C’s” — confidence, compete, and community — guiding athletes to develop self-assurance, embrace healthy competition, and become part of an uplifting, supportive team environment. By putting this philosophy into practice, Hempe strives to nurture the physical, mental, and emotional growth of each athlete, empowering them to reach their highest potential both in and outside of running.
