Boys Cross Country Varsity Head Coach

Hanson has been coaching boys track and field for 10 years and is in his fourth year as head coach at Eden Prairie High School after six years as an assistant. He also coaches cross country at EPHS. During his tenure, the program has made state meet appearances every year, highlighted by the boys 4x800 state championship in 2025 and a triple jump title in his first year as head coach. Named Section Coach of the Year in 2023, he emphasizes positivity and accountability, focusing on building a strong team culture and developing lifelong leaders on and off the track.
