Girls Varsity Volleyball Head Coach

Schulz has seven years of coaching experience and currently leads the varsity volleyball program at Hopkins High School. Her background includes coaching JV at Hopkins for one year, JV/9A at St. Louis Park for three years, and club-level roles with Club 43 and Northland Volleyball Club, as well as serving as a Nike Camp Director. A former right-side hitter, she thrived in high-pressure situations, often stepping in as a secondary setter during out-of-system plays and using quick decision-making to deliver creative tips. Her coaching philosophy focuses on creating a program where athletes feel supported, challenged, and proud to represent Hopkins while building a culture of accountability, communication, and competitive growth. She encourages players to lead with confidence, play with purpose, and support one another on and off the court. Originally from Lakeville, she now lives with her partner and two pets and enjoys gardening and creating art.
