Wayzata Boys Golf Head Coach

Casey Zylla serves as the varsity head coach for the Wayzata Boys Golf team. A proud Wayzata alumnus, Casey played high school golf for the Trojans and helped lead the team to a state championship during his junior year. After graduating, he returned to Wayzata to coach, bringing nearly two decades of experience across multiple sports. Over his career, he has coached football for 15 years, baseball for 9 years, and lacrosse for 3 years, before dedicating the past four years to guiding the varsity golf program.

Casey’s coaching philosophy centers on GIR — Grit, Integrity, and Resilience, values he instills in his athletes both on and off the course. His long-standing commitment to Wayzata athletics reflects his deep passion for developing student-athletes and fostering a culture of excellence and character.
