Varsity Girls Swim & Dive Head Coach

Ahrens is in her first year coaching girls and boys swim and dive at St. Michael-Albertville. Originally from Bettendorf, Iowa, she competed at the Iowa State Meet every year and swam Division 1 at South Dakota State University from 2020 to 2024. Last season, both the boys and girls teams qualified for the State AA meet.

Her coaching philosophy emphasizes instilling in athletes the belief that hard work and focus make any goal attainable, encouraging trust in the process even through challenges. She aims to develop athletes’ technical skills, respect for themselves, competitors, and sportsmanship, ensuring a positive, successful experience that builds both athletic ability and character.
