Megan Kooman

Varsity Gymnastics Head Coach

Megan Kooman is an experienced gymnastics coach with more than 20 years of involvement in the sport as both an athlete and a coach. She began her gymnastics journey at FLIPS Gymnastics before joining her high school team as a freshman, where she developed a strong foundation and passion for the sport.

Kooman went on to build an extensive coaching career at the high school level, primarily with Edina High School, where she coached for the majority of her career beginning around 2005–2006. She also served as a Varsity and Junior Varsity coach at Eden Prairie High School for four seasons from 2019 to 2023. In addition to her high school coaching roles, she has contributed to community education gymnastics programs, helping athletes of all levels develop their skills.

Throughout her coaching career, Kooman has guided numerous gymnasts to individual state-level competition, reflecting her commitment to athlete development and competitive excellence. Her long-standing dedication to gymnastics continues to make a positive impact on student-athletes and the broader gymnastics community.
