Varsity Baseball Head Coach

Tom Nevers serves as the Varsity Head Baseball Coach at Edina High School, where he has led the program for six years. With additional coaching experience at the youth and American Legion levels, Nevers brings a deep understanding of player development and the game’s long-term growth process.

Throughout his baseball journey, Nevers has experienced both the highs and challenges that define the sport. Among his most memorable moments are competing alongside Deion Sanders, facing Michael Jordan on the field, and participating in the Arizona Fall League, where he connected with players from across professional organizations.

Nevers emphasizes a culture built on accountability, commitment to the process, and strong team standards. He encourages his players to support one another and take pride in both individual and collective responsibility.

In recognition of his impact, Nevers was named Section Coach of the Year in 2025 (pending confirmation). Off the field, he values time with his family—his wife, Stacy, and their three sons, Mason, Jackson, and Chase.
